A gallery wall, hung on black.

This necklace arranges its treasures like paintings in a dark museum: framed classical cameo plaques – reclining figures in ivory relief on black grounds – hung among wreaths of black cabochons. Four portrait cameos of cheetahs in jeweled flame frames stand guard between the pictures, and at the center a great black heart holds the whole collection together, one last framed cameo swinging below it.

Night at the museum, admission one necklace.
