Two masks, three clocks, and no intention whatsoever of being on time.

This long asymmetrical necklace pairs two white Venetian masks – red-lipped, crowned with rainbow-crystal combs – with porcelain cameos painted with roses. Between them the hours accumulate: a square watch, an oval watch, a tiny pocket watch dropping from the lower mask like a secret. Golden hands reach along the chain, and a fleur-de-lis stands guard at one shoulder.

Carnival lasts all night in Venice. The clocks are purely decorative.
