A Roman triumph, in ivory and pearl.

At the center of this antique-finish necklace, a royal lion reclines across a wide relief plaque draped with swags of seed pearls. Two classical goddess faces watch from above, winged figures guard the shoulders, and an oval cameo medallion hangs below as the final seal. Pearl chains fall in long, ceremonial lines on both sides.

It looks excavated rather than manufactured – a museum piece that escaped its glass case.

Materials: resin relief, faux pearls, silver-tone metal.
