A Roman emperor in miniature – a white statue bust with curled hair and an armored chest, small enough to sit in the palm of a hand.
The sculpted brooch shows the bust of Marcus Aurelius as a classical statue: head and torso in all white, short curly hair, a stern face, and a molded chest cuirass with a raised central medallion and a vertical clasp down the front. The bust stands on a small rectangular pedestal base, and the 3D in the title is in the fully rounded, raised modelling. Shown held in an open palm, which gives its scale.
