A monarch butterfly landed on the queen, and brought its own crown.

This black beaded choker carries a dramatic pendant: wide monarch wings in orange and black spread behind a portrait of Marie Antoinette in an ornate golden frame. Above the portrait, a green scarab beetle wears a small crown; below it, a deep red stone and a hand-painted fan charm finish the drop. The choker closes through a gold medallion set with a black stone.

Dark, theatrical, unmistakably baroque.

Materials: glass beads, enamel, crystals, gold-tone metal.
