A palace chandelier, rebuilt as jewelry.

This dramatic body centerpiece is anchored by a large oval blue agate medallion carrying a gilded cherub relief, ringed with seed pearls and copper leaves. The shoulders are built from clusters of dark agate slices, black crystals and white baroque pearls on golden scroll arms, and fine chains drape below the medallion like the swags of a chandelier.

Worn over a simple dress or top, it covers the torso the way a breastplate covers a queen – which is more or less the intention.

Materials: genuine agate, baroque pearls, glass crystals, gold-tone metal.
