The huge oval brooch centers a gold medallion stamped with the number 5, ringed with pearls and red cabochons on gold filigree leaves. Large aqua-blue cabochons anchor the sides and the bottom point, and at the top a round cameo profile of a lady with a blue bow is edged in tiny turquoise beads.
